Students are encouraged to participate in school Work Experience Programs.  Students in Year 10 are given the opportunity to participate in a one-week block of work experience in November each year.  Students are also able to participate in other periods of work experience in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12, on the undertaking that all school work is up to date (this can be on a day release or block arrangement).

Note:  Any student intending to work on a construction site, eg landscape gardeners, plumbers, electricians, wall and floor tilers, roof tiles, plasterers, carpenters, bricklayers, etc, MUST first obtain an Occupational Health and Safety Induction Certificate.

Students are encouraged to seek casual and part-time employment to gain experience and build their confidence (this however, should not be to the detriment of their studies).
