Welfare Programs

Rock and Water

-  Year 7 anti-bullying strategy. 

This program develops boys' self-confidence in managing confronting situations and an understanding of how body language and attitude impact on how we face the threatening situations.

Study Skills

-  Year 7 adjustment to secondary study.

This is a series of lessons looking at study skills such as exam preparation, organisation, home-study and time management.

Network Cafe

-  Year 9 program

This program aims to develop the students' communication skills, self-confidence and customer service skills.

Sixth Sense

-  Currently being run in every class in Years 7-11.

The program is designed to help students understand disabilities, particularly social disabilities.  It aims to develop empathy and understanding of the needs and difficulties faced by people with disabilities.

Life Program

-  Year 9 program run in conjunction with the Hills District Youth Service.  It involves the students in a seven-week program focusing on a range of life issues such as respect, anger management, talking to girls, money management and job seeking skills.  Sports stars and other young role models are invited as guest speakers to get messages across in each session.

Relationships

-  A Year 10 program

This program focused on developing respectful attitudes to relationships with the opposite sex.

You and the Law

This program aims to develop a better understanding of the role of Police and the legal aspects of everyday living for boys in Years 10 and 12.
