| Epping Boys' High School has extensive facilities for a wide range of subject areas, allowing students to learn in excellent conditions. The school is located on 8.8 hectares, allowing buildings to be well spread with space for extensive oval facilities and two tennis courts.

Library
The Library is open from 8.00am, at recess and at lunchtime each day, except for Wednesday lunch and Friday recess. Currently over 15,000 resources are available for student access. In addition to print materials, the students may borrow videos, DVDs and CDs. A total of 28 computers are available for class work and for internet access. |
PDHPE
Epping Boys' High School has very fine facilities in sport, gymnastics and PDHPE. These include two full size ovals, two tennis courts, four basketball courts, a well-equipped gymnasium and a weightlifting centre. The gymnasium incorporates a modern rock-climbing wall, provided by student fund raising. |
Computing
The school has a fully networked system supporting 380 computer terminals. Computing Studies is taught in three specialist computer rooms. Computer laboratories are also located in the History, Social Sciences, Visual Arts, Industrial Arts, Science and Music faculties. The school has spent in excess of $200,000 over the last five years to provide these impressive computing facilities. As well, DET has provided additional funds. |
Industrial Arts
Well-equipped workshops exist for the teaching of wood, metal and plastics technologies. These facilities include wood and metal machinery, oxy and electric welding, and metal fabrication. A workshop/laboratory has been established for electronics and computer assisted drawing. A specialist computer laboratory provides support for Design and Technology subjects.

Drama
The school has a well-equipped multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of 850. Modern sound and lighting equipment enables the student sound and lighting team to give technical assistance to drama and musical production teams. In addition, we have a drama studio catering for drama lessons.

Music
The Music Faculty has two specialist teaching rooms and two other rooms for computer and rehearsal work. A wide-range of instruments are available for hire to be used in the many extra-curricular music activities. These facilities are used in combination with performance opportunities in Concert Band, Orchestra, Stage Band, Training Band, various choirs, Rock and Jazz ensembles. A number of visiting music tutors offer learning opportunities to many of our students.
The Music Department stage many concerts throughout the year. The Evening of Music is the main showcase concert displaying the large number of musical styles covered by our Music program. The musicians of our school also perform a wide variety of music at many Formal Assemblies throughout the year.
Musical productions are a major event in each alternate year. These productions bring together all the arts and so allow many students to be involved. The most recent, Guys and Dolls, was a credit to all students and teachers involved. The standard of the production was outstanding. |
Visual Arts
Facilities in Visual Arts include three Art teaching studios, computer facilities, a fully equipped dark room and a well-equipped ceramics laboratory.
