Excursions are considered to be an important and integral part of the curriculum at Epping Boys’ High School. 

The following checklist is referenced when undertaking the planning of an excursion:

• Is the excursion educationally worthwhile? 
• Does the excursion proposal fulfil Department of Education and Training guidelines?
• Supervising staff are allocated according to the nature of the excursion.
• All excursions must have an accompanying teacher currently trained in emergency care training.
• All sports activities and overnight excursions involving swimming must have an accompanying teacher currently trained CPR and emergency care training.
• Risk Management Plan for excursions are to be completed prior to excursion.
