This program endeavours to help students develop a positive self-concept and greater degree of self-understanding; foster tolerance, respect and recognition of other people; and eliminate as far as possible sex stereotyping.
Specifically, this program assists students to become aware of individual characteristics, experiences and environmental factors that influence their career plans. Students are helped to develop a differential pattern of vocational interests and work values. Students are helped to gain information to be able to identify steps and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
