Curriculum in Years 7 and 8

In Years 7 and 8, all students benefit from the school's broad curriculum, outlined in the Curriculum Flow Chart .

Classes in Year 7 are not graded except for a Gifted and Talented (GAT) class to cater for the special needs of students with exceptional ability.

In Year 8, students are 'banded' into three groups according to needs.  One group incorporates the GAT concept established in Year 7.

All Year 7 students are involved in Peer Support activities with Year 11 student leaders.

All students are given the opportunity to join Religious Instruction classes.

The library is an important part of Junior School life with students encouraged to develop an interest in reading, as well as, to use the resources and information technology available.
