Social Sciences Excursions
     

Excursions are an integral part of the learning experiences of the Social Sciences Faculty.  A sample of the excursions undertaken each year is:

  • Year 12 - Urban fieldwork study at Pyrmont and Sydeny CBD
  • Year 12 - Three-day Hunter Valley trip
  • Year 11 - Overnight to the Hunter Valley
  • Year 11 - Study of Gibberagong, Bobbin Head
  • Year 10 - Pyrmont and National Maritime Museum for all Year 10 Geography/Civics students
  • Year 7  - Day study tour - to be determined
     
As well as these excursions, there will be several guest lecturers and visitors such as Trent Driving School, visiting the school to speak to the Year 10 Commerce classes about safe driving. Periodically, other guest lecturers are invited as the situation demands.
