Higher School Certificate:
The Social Sciences Faculty again did exceptionally well in Business studies, Geography and Legal Studies with these subjects being above average for the state. Business Studies did particularly well with students on average being 3.5 marks above state average.
Economics was a little disappointing, being 2 marks below state average for the first time. The competition in Economics is particularly strong because only a small number of private school, selective schools and academic comprehensive schools offer Economics. |

School Certificate:
Geography results were outstanding.
22 boys received a Band 6 which was 12%, state was 7%
65 boys (35%) received a Band 5, state was 21%
Nearly 50% or our boys were placed in the top two bands which is nearly double the state average. |
| Commerce continues to be extremely popular with four elective classes in each of Years 9 and 10, culminating in around 230 students studying this vibrant, relevant subject. |
