The purpose of gifted and talented courses in Science is two-fold.  Firstly, to give students a taste of senior science courses such as Chemistry, Physics and Biology; and secondly, to sharpen their skills for the School Certificate.

The course is run over the whole year and at its completion a certificate is awarded to successful students.  An overnight excursion is also held in Canberra which complements students' scientific experiences.  Any student keen to do well in Science is encouraged to participate in this rewarding experience.
