| In order to enhance student learning in the classroom, a number of excursions are organised throughout the year for a variety of the courses on offer. |
Year 7
In 2005, Year 7 participated in an excursion to Taronga Zoo to support their learning in the ecology-based topic, Looking after Living Things. A fun and informative day was had by all. |

Year 9
Year 9 was fortunate to be able to participate in a 'hands-on' experience at Macquarie University's ICT Centre. the day was spent experimenting and learning how to program LEGO robots to carry out a variety of functions. This enhanced the Robotics Topic they wer studying in the classroom. |

Year 11
Biology students were able to practice their skills and enhance their learning while studying the first of their Preliminary Course topics, A Local Ecosystem, by participating in an excursion to the Field of Mars Study Centre. Here, they were given the opportunity to practically study abundance and distribution in a variety of habitats. |
