Practical assessment will be based on the student's ability to acquire skills which are presented, and then student demonstration of these skills under examination conditions.   Semester 2 practical assessment is determined from student's accumulated marks received in every practical assessment completed throughout the year.
The Half Yearly Exam will consist of 20 multiple choice questions, 10 missing word, 10 label the diagram and 10 matching words to definitions for a mark out of 50.
The Yearly Exam will assess the student's acquired knowledge over both semesters in Health and Physical Education.
Folder Mark comprises completed work presented in class and catching up on work that is missed when a student is absent.
Assignment assessment is based on the student's abilities to research a Health topic and present it in a written form to his PDHPE teacher.
Students failing to complete or submit any of the above assessment tasks by the due date will receive a mark of zero.  If students have a doctor's certificate or medical explanation and they approach their teacher, then consideration will be given to these students for completing a suitable assessment task.
