| During March 2007 the school's Wind Ensemble travelled to Hawaii to participate in the 22nd Annual Pacific Basin Music Festival. Against other schools in the Pacific Basin region, we competed for the prestigious position of being the Command Performers of this festival. We were thrilled when our school was announced as the Command Performers and we had the privilege of performing for 25 minutes in the grand Hawaii Theatre. We are the only Australian ensemble to win this privileged position in the 22 years. |
