Course Outcomes

• Using Language:  Students will develop the knowledge, understanding and the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills necessary for effective communication in the target language
• Making Linguistic Connections:  Students will explore the nature of languages as systems with a view to making comparisons between English and the target language and also appreciating the correct application of linguistic structures and vocabulary.
• Students will develop a greater understanding of cultures which use the target language and the interdependence of language and culture and how this is reflected in their own cultural heritage.
