Computing Faculty Facilities

Our School boasts 4 computer rooms dedicated to the delivery of Computing Courses.  Our fee structure for students electing computing subjects is such that it allows us to sustain two of these rooms.  Systems are replaced every 4 years. All systems are kept up-to-date with current  licenced software.  The systems use Microsoft's XP operating system, which is secured through a Windows 2003 network.  The computer labs are air conditioned and have access to digital projection facilities.  There are between 23 and 28 computers in each room.

Students may use the DET's Portal account to send work to and from home. Other email systems will not work at school. The computing facilities are available for students to use before school, at recess and at lunch time, providing they have a legitimate educational reason.  Students value and respect the facilities provided.
